Greetings everyone I hope your Christmas was everything you hoped. We had a very busy time with family inviting us for breakfast and then other members asking us for lunch. we are so very lucky.

We went to meet our moderator Sarah and her boys for breakfast on Christmas eve. It was the anniversary of husband, father, and brother's passing on what would have been his birthday. It was very special.

My art and crafts have practically dried up! I have had a difficult couple of years. Ever hopeful  I keep trying!!    It's lovely to see you and  Sarah beavering  away at your crafting.

This corner of my studio shows a painting half finished. while taking it off the board I ripped it I kept trying to make it look better by adding more and more. Without any success look at that black bird

its  the  size of an Eagle!!

My work desk while I was working on some small items I planned to make into  necklace.

another epic fail! far too large for a necklace, I will have a rethink!

This was the last crafty item I made, I think it was in a book I offered up at the last "crop" I think Sarah has it.  Wish me well with my arty crafty Quest this coming year. I wish you all a happy crafty  new year.

  1. Merry Christmas Pat! I like your crafting and artwork, it’s been a tough year for you all, so if you enjoy the making that’s all to the good 🥰 I’m hoping to get to this year’s Crop so it would be nice to meet you there.

  2. I'm a bit slow at visiting this week. I hope you had a lovely Christmas. It will have been a difficult time for everyone and I send you all a big hug. Your crafting and artwork are fab - even if you do have to make little adjustments.😃 I did chuckle at your "eagle" but loved the painting. Happy New Year.x x Jo 🌈

  3. A bit slow here too, but that necklace is going to be amazing (not too large for the RIGHT occasion) so glad I got here eventually! Love the painting and nice to see you on WOYWW.
    A Merry Christmas catch up!

  4. I'm very slow visiting Pat. I think you're too hard on your critique of your work. Shame you ripped your painting.
Thanks for sharing and happy belated WOYWW and Christmas.

  5. I like your painting and as for the bird, he is much nearer the viewer which makes him seem bigger 🤗. I am sure once framed the rip won’t be noticeable. Hugs Angela #8
