De- stashing and looking for my Mojo.

I have been proper poorly this year and completely mislaid my mojo. Trying to get myself moving the first thing I tackled was to make an attempt at tidying and de-stashing my teeny tiny studio.
I decided to start with types of materials,  you cannot believe the diversity of 'stuff' I have accumulated.
I kicked it off with WOOL I fetched all the bags and boxes out of long forgotten corners. I was ruthless!!
I Belong to a group loosely termed a sewing class, I took a huge box along and invited the ladies to help themselves, what is left will be donated to our local scrap shack who will sell it on behalf of a special school.
I shall tackle PAPER next.
My sister-in- law Sarah Brennan   puts me to shame with her crafting and keeping up with posting.
I Shall make a  start by posting to WOYWW
On my newly tidied work desk
I was half heartedly trying to do a journal page using a a stash of watercolour experiments I've had for years.

  1. Hi Pat, nice to meet you. I shall watch with interest how you de-stash as I know I need to do it but although I keep trying I also keep getting distracted and moving on to other stuff. Good luck with your efforts, Angela xxx

  3. Hi Pat lovely to meet you @ WOYWW. Sorry to hear your health has not been kind to you this year, hope you are feeling much better now and your mojo will soon be fighting fit too.
It's not an easy task sorting through our stash and I agree it can be quite an eye opener when we see the size of it when we dig deep.
Sounds like you are doing fine tackling one box at a time, so nice to think it is being passed on. Good luck with it all and hope to see you regularly each week.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend & Thank you for sharing.. Your journal page is looking mighty fine.

  6. Good for you on destashing! Sometimes you must be ruthless and get rid of stuff that might be weighing your mojo down. I've downsized many times over the years and found that it's a wonderful thing to do! Thank you for visiting for WOYWW! I don't post as often as I should lol!

  8. Hi Pat, welcome back! I LOVE your journal page, especially those artsy birds and the way you've created the effect at the bottom, just beautiful.
When I've lost my mojo, I find a good clear-out is a great start - reminds you what you have, what still inspires you, then other people can benefit from what you don't need, which leaves you with a space to work in, brilliant!
Now you've let your mojo back in, I'm sure she will stay and play :o) Annie C #21

    1. Just read back over my comment and realised I left a bit out - I meant to say "the effect of a rock pool at the bottom" - I just love how you've done that :o)
