WOYWW

I have decided to join in with the fun at WOYWW This is my first post.
I had been cram jar dyeing and ended up with a load of vintage fabrics in shades of burgundy and cerise. As part of my own personal stash-buster project the plan was to make something without buying more "stuff" and give the rest away.... like that was going to happen, right?
I have played around with just about everything arty crafty over the years so I have an Aladdins  cave of stuff.
I am off to see what everyone else is up to now I have discovered you.x

  1. Welcome to WOYWW, I really love your fabric hearts, such rich colours, I'm afraid sewing isn't something I'm any good at, my mum could make anything, she was very talented but me, not a chance.
    Have a great weekend

I adore your fabric pieces! And I know what you mean about Aladdin's cave ... I can hardly get in the door to my room of fabric/paper stash. Something's gotta give :)

  10. Hi Pat,

Firstly sorry for not visiting before now, my world gets so busy I have to force myself to create time for the deskers of the world and right now I am sneaking in a few visits whilst at work.

I so love your hearts they are divine and the colour just amazing. I see you use old doilies and linen serviettes or napkins, what a wonderful way to use them up and some of those fabric bits n pieces are just wonderful. Happy crafting and thanks for sharing. You will find there is a pretty diverse bunch of ladies on the desks, you should check out Judy's Fabrications she does amazing work like you too.

  11. I've never heard of cram jar dying, but I can picture it in my head vividly. I only hope it's just what it sounds like. Your results are pretty awesome too - both the color and your designs. Of course, I'm a sucker for anything with buttons on it! ;)
    Hope #60
